French speaking Teacher
The association Les Amis de l'Ecole Koenig was founded in 1986 by Joan Koenig with the ambition to create an international, creative and artistic working environment, resolutely turned towards the XXIst century.
Located in the heart of the lively district of La Motte Piquet Grenelle, the Association offers a wide range of activities based on music and children's well-being. More than 500 children now attend its nursery school and after-school classes.
The program offered in our preschool is unique and innovative; it allows children from all backgrounds to learn, through music, English and French, as well as to acquire the essential notions for entry into the first grade. Indeed, today, neuroscience recognizes the central role of music in early childhood and our program is based on these scientific advances.
In order to complete our team, we are recruiting a French speaking Teacher.
Responsibilities :
- Be responsible for a group of children aged 2 to 3 1/2 years old, in a triad with an English-speaking teacher and a music teacher
- Participate in the primary mission of our school, which is to instruct and educate through music. Implement and lead learning or teaching situations developed with imagination and creativity within the framework of the educational programs.
- Contribute to the development of the school's project by providing regular feedback and proposals to the pedagogical center.
- Evaluate the progress and achievements of the children and communicate with parents
- Organize and participate in events and outings organized as part of the program, in conjunction with the parents and staff concerned
- Participate in work meetings and training sessions
- Contribute to the smooth running of the school and the work
Profile sought :
- You have teaching experience with children or are in retraining with experience gained in different school, cultural and/or country environments.
- You have a passion for teaching with a good knowledge of the stages of children's development, or you are a future enthusiast and enjoy working with young children
- You are creative and eager to implement innovative pedagogy, including music, song and dance, for children's development
- You are able to lead learning and adjust your professional practice to young children
- You have a perfect command of written and spoken French and fluent English would be a plus.
- You are a team player and enjoy working with a variety of teachers
- You are patient and a good listener, while developing a natural authority with the children
- You master the usual office tools.
- Bac + 2 required (diploma to be presented)
Position to be filled quickly, on a permanent contract, 35 hours per week.
Training planned at the beginning of the job.
Gross hourly rate from 22€ - 100% face to face.
