Our Music Programs by Age

At The Koenig Conservatory, every stage of childhood is a stage for music. Our age-based programs are designed to meet young musicians right where they are- whether they’re discovering rhythm for the first time, picking up their first instrument, or performing on stage. From babyhood through the teenage years, we nurture musical growth with joy, purpose, and artistry.

Ages 0–6: Early Childhood Music Program

A joyful introduction to lifelong musicianship

At The Koenig Conservatory, we believe music isn’t just for later—it’s for now. Young children are naturally attuned to rhythm, melody, and expression, and our early childhood program transforms that instinct into a powerful, joyful foundation for future musical learning.

This is where your child’s musical journey begins—with rhythm in their feet, melody in their voice, and music in their heart.

Ages 7–18+: Find Your Musical Voice

Classical or Jazz & Rock:

two vibrant paths, one shared love of music

At The Koenig Conservatory, students ages 7 and up are invited to take their musicianship to the next level through two dynamic ensemble tracks. Whether your child is drawn to the elegance of classical music or the pulse of contemporary styles, each path offers meaningful performance experience, creative growth, and serious musical training—all in a collaborative, inspiring environment.

The Classical Path: Chamber Music Ensembles

Small groups. Big sound.
Students refine their technique, expression, and musicality while learning to listen, lead, and collaborate. Chamber Music develops the skills of an orchestral player in an intimate setting, encouraging deep focus and ensemble cohesion through challenging and rewarding repertoire.

The Jazz & Rock Path: Bands & Ensembles

Where groove meets growth.
These performance-based groups give students hands-on experience with improvisation, rhythm, and musical creativity. From jazz combos to rock bands, students build confidence, explore stylistic nuance, and learn what it means to truly perform- on stage and in the moment.
