Biography

Anne Mantaux studied at the Maîtrise de Radio-France, with G.Rex, Marie Louise Strub-Moresco, C. Cebro and Françoise Levechin. She received the diplôme supérieur from the International Conservatory of Paris and was a prize-winner at the Bellan competition for excellence in piano, musical training, harmony and analysis. As a pianist she has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist for many singers.

Both a pianist and composer, she has her own catalog of works for piano, chamber music, musical tales and choir (Billaudot & A CoeurJoie editions. She is the author of pedagogical books such as Les Lutins, a children's piano and solfège method, and Méthode de Déchiffrage, a guide to sight-reading at the piano. A choirmaster by training, Anne has taught piano and musical training in numerous conservatories and music schools. In 2013, she worked on the writing of an opera for young audiences. Anne has been teaching music skills ("Formation Musicale") and piano at L’Ecole Koenig since 2010.
