An Exceptional Daily Structure

We are dedicated to helping each child be successful. Daily activities' structure is carefully planned to encourage independence, self-confidence, and group cooperation through large group, small group, and one-on-one time with each teacher.

Our three CLASSES

PICCOLO CLASS

Age Group: 2.5 to 3.5 YO
Toute Petite Section (TPS) and Petite Section(PS)

A lifelong love of learning starts at the very beginning. In the TPS and PS programs, caring and supportive teachers foster social-emotional development through nurturing relationships with the children.

The classroom is set to promote children’s developing independence by acquiring valuable skills, such as the ability to communicate and collaborate.

The children carry on their learning journey through more exploration and discovery. Through carefully planned and thought transversal learning experiences, they continue to develop their literacy, math, and music skills.

Teachers help them grow their critical-thinking skills and social-emotional intelligence to solve social problems in the classroom. This class is aimed at our older Petite Section children and our younger Moyenne Section children.

ALTO CLASS

Age Group: 4 to 5.5 YO
Moyenne Section (MS) and Grande Section (GS)

In this last year at L'Ecole Koenig for some children, our students continue to explore and learn academic essentials required for school readiness. Literacy, math, and music foundations, essential for primary school, are consolidated and built-on.

The uniqueness of the program based on transversality prepares the children for lifelong learning. Social-emotional intelligence is cultivated by the teachers to achieve better communication skills and life-readiness. This class is aimed at our older Moyenne section children and our Grande section children.

Afterschool program

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
From 3:00pm to 5:30pm (12:00 to 17:30 on Wednesdays)

L’Ecole Koenig offers an Afterschool program, from 3 until 5:30 pm, on our Letellier campus. It allows the children to further their artistic skills with friends.

Children are brought over to the Letellier campus by our staff. They are offered a healthy snack. Different activities are organized: circle time, songs, arts and crafts, storytime, and free play. The program is run in both English and French.

Meals and Nutrition

Our school is associated with the catering service, RESSOURCES, which responds to the challenges of our time while taking into account the nutritional knowledge that has been acquired over the past fifteen years.

RESSOURCES is made up of a team of chefs. For more than 5 years, this sustainable kitchen laboratory has been feeding families and school children in the Paris VI region while developing a kitchen with a positive impact. Their goal is to provide children with joyful and tasty food that is completely organic and ecological. Their delivery is environmentally friendly and the fish comes only from sustainable fishing.

The meals follow the nutritional recommendations drawn up by the GEM RCN, and incorporate the objectives of the National Health Nutrition Program (fight against obesity, control of protein intake, fruit and vegetable intake, iron and calcium, etc.). The team of chefs is also careful to offer a variety of preparations, flavors and textures to stimulate the learning of tastes.

Each week, there are healthy alternatives on your children's plate: 2 vegetarian meals, 1 fish meal, 1 meat meal, which allows them to discover different types of food. Mealtime is a real learning opportunity.

All meals are age appropriate and served at a comfortable and safe temperature.
